2 Places to see in Gran Canaria that are not in the guidebooks

TIRITAÑA
Tiritaña is a small paradise without overcrowding thanks to its complex access. It is a small sandy cove to which access is not too easy, because you have to go down the mouth of the ravine of Tiritaña from the road and is a not very long but somewhat complex descent. It is a spectacular beach, surrounded by cliffs and black sand, worth enjoying.

BARRANCO DE LOS CERNÍCALOS

Located in the municipality of Telde, in the less urbanized part, is one of the best landscapes of Gran Canaria for nature lovers. This is the Barranco de Los Cernícalos ravine, a regular place for walks and hikes for locals and foreigners. The access to the entrance of the trail can be a bit confusing, here we will give you the indications. The ravine has a length of more than 10 kilometers and includes the largest willow grove of the islands, including in the route a large number of springs flowing water throughout the year. It is a place of beauty and tranquility difficult to match elsewhere on the island.
