What time does Bizarrap play at Boombastic in Gran Canaria?

  • Boombastic offers two days of music with 38 artists on three stages set up in the Annex of the Gran Canaria Stadium.
  • The event brings the biggest technical set up in the Canary Islands.

Argentine record producer, DJ and composer Bizarrap will be performing this weekend in Gran Canaria as part of the Boombastic festival. The first edition of this trendy festival in Spain lands in the Annex of the Gran Canaria Stadium with a huge technical set-up to accommodate 22 hours of urban pop music show, which starts on Friday at 4 pm. The festival will take place on three large stages. A total of 38 artists will participate in the event, which will end on Sunday, June 25 at 3:00 am. The forecast is to receive 40,000 young people on June 23 and 24.

An idea of the magnitude of the assembly being carried out in Siete Palmas is given by the fact that two of the stages are 25 meters high in their central part and have 1,200 square meters of stage platforms. The third stage is located on one side of the ring surrounding the stadium. In addition to Bizarrap, the line-up includes Duki, Mora, Bad Gyal, Eladio Carrión, Tockisha, Emilia, Villano Antillano, Saiko and Maikel Delacalle.

The organization promises “some surprise for the Canarian public”, something that leads directly to think of Quevedo, who has signed with Bizarrap one of his greatest hits, Quédate. However, this is nothing more than a conjecture derived from the promised surprise. This Tuesday, three days before the start of the festival, the Boombastic organization has revealed the day and time that Bizarrap will play, after days of mystery.

Deployment of resources

The technical structure of the concert has 125 meters of stage front, with a sound power of more than 600,000 watts. Three large Canarian companies in the audiovisual sector have had to join forces to meet the requirements of this event, which has special lighting, LED screens, special effects and pyrotechnics. All this in an enclosure with 800 square meters of bars, 600 meters of gastronomic area, a merchandising store of 200 square meters and 200 portable toilets.

Boombastic is bringing to Gran Canaria several special guests -actors, singers and influencers- who will be installed on an elevated VIP platform in the center of the two main stages. This in itself promises to be quite a spectacle.

In addition to a security plan, with strong protection measures, the festival has a mobility plan, which includes a shuttle bus system to facilitate the attendance of the public during the two days of concerts.
